Two recent motor vehicle accidents have prompted a response from Baxter Fire Brigade. Yesterday ( Tues) at 545pm emergency services were called to a vehicle into a structure Sandalwood Retreat Frankston. A dozen residents and staff were evacuated as a precaution. Vic Ambulance , Police and Frankston SES also attended. No injuries were reported. This morning Baxter Fire Brigade was called to a car Vs petrol bowser at the United service station, Frankston-Flinders road. The bowser was knocked off its supports with no spill involved. Crews attending deemed it to be safe and control was left with management. Good work by all responding personnel . We encourage all drivers to be aware of their surroundings and drive accordingly.
